Why it matters

A water bowl goes stale fast

Still water collects dust, hair and bits of food, and it warms up in a heated room. A fountain keeps the water moving through the bowl, and a bigger reservoir means fewer refills.

What you get

01

Aluminium bowl

Hard-wearing and easy to wipe clean.

02

Two sizes

4 litres for one small or medium dog. 8 litres for big drinkers or a house with more than one dog.

03

Circulating water

A small pump keeps the water flowing from the spout back into the bowl.

04

Fewer refills

A bigger reservoir than a standard bowl, so you top it up less often.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Rinse

Rinse the bowl and parts before first use.

  2. 2

    Fill

Fill with fresh water, leaving room below the rim.

  3. 3

    Switch on

Connect the power and check that water flows from the spout.

  4. 4

    Top up and clean

Top up before the level gets low, and clean the bowl and pump regularly.

Is it right for your dog?

Good for

  • Dogs that like moving water
  • Homes with more than one dog (8 litres)
  • Owners tired of refilling the bowl

Not for

  • Dogs that chew cables: route the cable out of reach
  • Spots where it can be knocked over: stand it on a flat, stable floor

Good to know

Clean the pump

Take the pump apart and rinse it when you clean the bowl, so hair and grit do not build up.

Never let it run dry

Top up before the water gets low, so the pump always sits under water.

Where to put it

Away from the food bowl, on a flat floor, with the cable tucked out of the way.

Questions

Which size do I need?

4 litres suits one small or medium dog. Choose 8 litres for a large dog or more than one dog, so you refill less often.

Will my dog drink more?

We do not promise that. Some dogs like moving water, some do not care. What a fountain does is keep water moving and available.

How often should I clean it?

Rinse the bowl when you top up. Take the pump apart for a clean about once a week, or sooner if food ends up in the water.

What happens if the water runs out?

Top it up before it runs low. A pump that runs dry wears out faster and gets noisy.

Fresh water, fewer refills

Pick the size for your dog, fill it and switch it on.
